Crawdads take 3rd in State South Zone

This past weekend, June 22-24th, the Houston Crawdads placed 3rd in the 7U-AA South Zone State Tournament. The Crawdads were in the field of 26 teams in the tourney in Laporte, TX vying for the State Championship.

After going 2-0 in pool play on Friday, and winning the next two games to get to the semi finals, the Crawdads faced off against the Houston Cougars with the winner going to the finals. The Crawdads could not hold on to an early 6-1 lead and the Cougars went on to win the game. The Cougars then defeated the Pearland Outlaws to take home the Championship. Congrats to the Cougars for their accomplishment! Way to go Crawdads for fighting hard and taking 3rd out of 26 teams.
