The Crawdads again made early errors and allow 5 runs in the first 3 innings. Then, the Crawdad defense tightened up to keep the game close by retiring the next 9 Cougars in a row. However, the Crawdads just could not get the bats going. Cougars win to move on to the next round.
We are proud of you boys. You had a great season and did awesome in the tournaments!Good luck to the Humble Bulldogs and all of the teams remaining.

Thanks for doing a blog for the Crawdads. I was going to do one off the main Crawdads site but was too worried about spammers hitting it and loading it down with vile links.
I am very proud of each and every boy that made up the Crawdads club this season. A special thanks to all my coaches and the wonderful parents the Crawdads have. Each of you are truly appreciated!

You're welcome. It was fun trying the blog out. It kept me busy during the games trying to post the scores between innings.
Thanks for all that you and the other coaches and everyone that contributed to the team did during the very successful first season of the Crawdads.
